For the stallion auction, only the stud fee is bid on. There will be one breeding offered per stallion. Bids start at 50% of advertised stud fee.
The successful bidder will have 15 days to submit payment in full or the breeding will revert to the second highest bidder.
Arrangements and costs for AI are strictly between the stallion owner and the bidder, as are arrangements for travel and mare-care costs for live cover. The year in which the purchased breeding is to be used should be arranged between the bidder and the stallion owner. The stallion services purchased through the CCPS Stallion Auction are intended for the 2012 breeding season only. All other breeding arrangements are to be made as per the stallion owner’s breeding contract. The winning bidder must sign the Stallion owner’s contract.
Bidding increments on stud fees will be set at a $50 minimum and bidders will remain anonymous on line. The stallion owners and the winning bidders will be notified by the CCPS. There will be a reserve bid on all stallions.
Breedings purchased through the CCPS Stallion Auction are not transferrable and may not be re-sold by the purchaser.
Payment is by cheque to CCPS or by paypal, available at www.canadianconnemara.org
To place a bid, simply click on the ‘Submit Comment’ button from the individual stallion auction page and enter your name and contact info, your bid amount, and declare that you have read, understood, and will comply with the procedures and rules. All bids are payable in Canadian Funds, and there will be no GST added.
The CCPS is not responsible for the outcome of any breeding agreements nor guarantees the condition of any auction items.
